Crossroad Quilters May 21, 2007
Karen called the meeting to order with 27 members and 1 guest present. We had our show and tell. The program for the evening was to share our organizational tips for quilting and our sewing rooms.
We discussed participating in the antique show on September 15 and 16, 2007. A motion was made and seconded to not participate in the show. Motion carried.
We revisited the program payment motion and it was decided to: (1) pay the instructor for the program including mileage up to $40 and also pay building rent. (2) when we have a class, each person participating will pay for the class. A motion was made and seconded. Motion carried.
We are still missing an Eleanor Burns book from our Library, everyone please check your books to see if it was misplaced.
Janie gave a financial report and Karen reminded us of the upcoming fair booth and the lattice square block pattern to be the focal point of our booth.
We discussed a donation for the Greensburg citizens and was decided to wait until later to see what would be needed.
Please remember the FQ's birthday swap.
Annette won the door prize donated by Kay and Susan G. won 13 FQ's in the FQ drawing. Next month's FQ theme will be patriotic.
Cindy gave us a report on the two seniors she helped with their senior projects.
The ladies that went to Paducah, KY on the bus trip gave us a report and showed some of the items they purchased.
Next month's meeting will be June 18th.
June sew days are June 9 in Stockton and June 13 in Plainville.
Ladies signed up for June refreshments are Betty H., Sue M., and Elaine H.

Dear Crossroad Quilters
Wow, I don't know where May went! I've had lots of things going on, and time is just flying.
I'm very happy to see a pretty steady number of members attending our meetings. There are a few faces we haven't seen in a while. Try taking a little time out of your schedule to do something for yourself. Sharing an evening with fellow quilters can be relaxing and inspiring. We've had some really pretty show and tell projects lately.
June FQ theme is Patriotic or Red, White or Blue. Don't forget to bring your FQ for the drawing.
Check your calendars for the Birthday FQ swap.
If you haven't made anything for the Fair booth, time to start thinking and working on it. August is not that far away!
June Sew Days are June 9 in Stockton, and June 13 in Plainville. Come join us!
June 18 is our next meeting. Ladies in charge of refreshments are: Betty H., Sue M., and Elaine H.

Have fun creating different designs. How many different looks can we
create? The Link to the Quilters Chache
web page is http://www.quilterscache.com
You will need to select free patterns and then 12” size. If you would like a paper
copy of this pattern please let me know.
